This week’s streaming update brings a diverse collection of titles to major platforms, ranging from long-running sequels to experimental shorts.
Shounen Ashibe: Go! Go! Goma-chan 3 arrives on Crunchyroll, continuing the wholesome adventures of a boy and his pet seal. Also on Crunchyroll, Fist of the Blue Sky: Regenesis 2nd Season brings the gritty action of the Fist of the North Star prequel to a conclusion, while Last Period: The Journey to the End of the Despair offers its satirical take on fantasy RPG tropes.
Crunchyroll also added K: Seven Stories - The Idol K, a lighthearted spin-off reimagining the K franchise cast as pop stars, and Voice of Fox, an adaptation of the Chinese manhua series Hu Li Zhi Sheng focusing on the competitive music industry.
Netflix has added Ingress the Animation, a sci-fi thriller originally produced for Fuji TV's +Ultra block that ties into the global augmented reality game. HIDIVE expands its lineup with Z/X: Code Reunion, which depicts a fragile peace between humanity and extraterrestrial invaders.
Rounding out the updates, Amazon Prime now hosts Beatless Intermission, a collection of recap episodes for the Beatless series. Finally, the short Chichibu de Buchichi has arrived on YouTube, telling a nostalgic story of a woman grappling with a childhood memory while facing an arranged marriage.
