Several anime titles have arrived or updated across streaming platforms this week. Crunchyroll adds The Journey Home, a 3D animated co-production between Japan's P.I.C.S. and South Korea's W.Baba. Also on Crunchyroll is Late night! The Genius Bakabon, a return for Akatsuka Fujio's iconic gag manga after an 18-year hiatus.
Gakuen Basara: Samurai High School, a comedic take on the Sengoku era, and The Thousand Noble Musketeers, set in a post-apocalyptic world, are now available on HIDIVE. Crunchyroll also offers a recap of the first 12 episodes of Toji no Miko.
Further additions to Crunchyroll include Rainy Cocoa: Side G, the fifth season of the cafe-themed series, and Phantom in the Twilight, a modern London fantasy about creatures born from human fear. Finally, Music Girls, about an idol group struggling to find success, joins the Crunchyroll lineup.
