The upcoming Magic Knight Rayearth anime project, celebrating the franchise's 30th anniversary, has revealed a wave of new details. At Anime Expo 2026, the panel unveiled additional cast members, key staff, and a first promotional video for the series. The anime is slated for broadcast beginning October 7 on TV Asahi's "IMAnimation W" programming block.

Yuuki Kaji voices Clef, Emiri Katou takes on the role of Presea, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will portray Ferio. The production team includes Yui Umemoto as director at E&H Production, with series composition by Shigeru Murakoshi and character designs by Satomi Watanabe. Music for the series will be handled by Yuki Kajiura, Takumi Ozawa, and Shiho Terada.

Further staff announcements include Takayuki Sano as Assistant Director, Hiroki Mutaguchi overseeing Mashin Design and Mechanical Direction, and Chiho Nakamura on Color Design. The production is a joint effort between TMS Entertainment, Kodansha, and TV Asahi, with TMS Music handling music production. Seong-Hu Park serves as Creative Producer.

CLAMP's original mahou shoujo manga, which ran from 1993 to 1995, has seen multiple releases in English, with Kodansha USA currently holding the license. This new anime adaptation continues the legacy of the beloved fantasy adventure.
