Netflix has officially revealed the English dub cast and crew for the anime adaptation of Akane-banashi. The streaming giant listed the details for the first two episodes, which are set to premiere on May 17, followed by subsequent episodes released weekly.

The English dub features Abby Trott as the titular Akane Osaki and Xander Mobus as Shinta Arakawa. The cast also includes Rebecca Wang as Masaki Osaki, Brook Chalmers as Shiguma Arakawa, Evan Michael Lee as Issho Arakawa, Rich Brown as Zensho Arakawa, and Kirk Thornton as Ikken Arakawa/Yanagiya. Mona Marshall voices Yoshino, with Clifford Chapin as Kimihisa Kashio/Emcee and Riichi. Dorah Fine, Matt Shipman, and Darius Marquis Johnson also contribute additional voices.

Production for the English dub is handled by Bang Zoom! Studios, with Alex Von David directing and writing the ADR. Eric P. Sherman serves as Executive Producer, with Mami Okada and Mio Moroe as Co-Producers. Mami Okada also takes on the role of Casting Director. The full staff list includes specialists in sound supervision, mixing, engineering, and editing.

The Akane-banashi anime, based on the manga by Yūki Suenaga and Takamasa Moue, began airing in Japan on April 4th as part of TV Asahi's "IMAnimation" programming block. Full episodes are available for free streaming in North America and Latin America via the anime's official YouTube channel after their Japanese broadcast. The series is also distributed across various international platforms including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and throughout the Asia Pacific region.
