TMS Entertainment is expanding its curated Detective Conan library, with Netflix and Crunchyroll set to add the second wave of the "FBI Intervention" collection on August 1. This specific selection highlights key encounters involving the FBI, with a heavy emphasis on fan-favorite Shuichi Akai and his ongoing conflict with the Black Organization.
This release builds upon the collection that originally premiered on May 1, which introduced several episodes previously unavailable in the U.S. market. The upcoming drop includes episodes 170-171, 226-227, 258-259, 277-278, 279-280, and 307-308. As with previous batches, these episodes are available in Japanese and feature a fresh English dub by Studio Nano, distinct from the legacy Bang Zoom! and Funimation-era localizations.
This initiative follows a steady rollout of thematic collections that began in July 2025, starting with "Conan vs. The Black Organization" and followed by "Rivals of the Great Detective" in November. The long-running series, which celebrated its 30th anniversary earlier this year, continues to see massive success in Japan; its 29th feature film, Detective Conan: Highway no Datenshi, recently set a new opening-day record for the franchise by earning 1.13 billion yen.
