The romantic comedy series My Sword Saint Master Is Too Cute to Live With! is officially moving to television. Studio Deregula has been tapped to produce the adaptation, with the project's first teaser visual surfacing today via the series' official social media channels.

The manga, written by Kennoji and illustrated by R_ringo, first debuted on the KadoComi website in March 2024. The story centers on Eugene Dawson, an aspiring warrior who secures a mentorship under the legendary Sword Saint, Liza Parsandra. While Liza is a peerless combatant, her scatterbrained personality and frequent, unintended physical affection make Eugene’s training sessions far more complicated—and distracting—than he ever anticipated.

Author Kennoji is no stranger to adaptations; their previous work, Drugstore in Another World: The Slow Life of a Cheat Pharmacist, received an anime series in 2021. For international audiences, Seven Seas Entertainment recently announced that it has licensed the manga for an English release under its Ghost Ship imprint, with the first volume slated for a June 2027 launch.
