The creative forces behind My Happy Marriage and Fiancée of the Wizard have united for a fresh project. Author Akumi Agitogi and artist Masaki Kazuka began their collaboration, Miko to Yashayome, with a prologue chapter in Kadokawa's B's-LOG COMIC on July 24. The series is now moving into regular serialization within the magazine.

This title adapts an original story by Agitogi that had not previously been published. The narrative follows Miyabi Mori, a young sorceress who marries into the Koiwai family, the leaders of the isolated Kakashi village. Her husband, Kuon, is revered as a sacred "Miko" in the community, though he has suffered from a debilitating curse since birth. The story tracks Miyabi’s journey as she applies her magical talents to save him from his affliction.

Agitogi brings a strong track record to this partnership, having penned the My Happy Marriage light novel series, which maintains a dedicated following and a successful anime adaptation on Netflix. Similarly, Kazuka is well-regarded for illustrating the Fiancée of the Wizard manga. Their combined experience in character-driven fantasy makes this new series a notable addition to the B's-LOG COMIC lineup.
