The romantic entanglement of My Crush's Crush (Boku no Suki na Hito ga Suki na Hito) is officially set for a television anime adaptation. Artist Ryō Tsuzura celebrated the news by sharing a commemorative illustration, signaling the move from the pages of Hakusensha's Young Animal Zero to animation.

The series follows Sora Akizuki, whose attempt to confess his love to Miya Fuwa ends in rejection. He soon learns that Miya is infatuated with Asahi Suzukaze, the president of an enigmatic organization known as the "Clinical Trials Club." In a bid to understand his rival, Sora joins the club, only to uncover a complex web of unrequited feelings that complicates the group's dynamics further.

This project marks another high-profile adaptation for writer Sekina Aoi, whose previous work, Gamers!, successfully made the jump to television in 2017. Aoi is also well-known for the The Student Council's Discretion (Seitokai no Ichizon) light novel series, which received two anime seasons in 2009 and 2012. With the seventh volume of My Crush's Crush having just hit shelves, the announcement arrives as the manga continues to gain momentum with readers.
