The Muv-Luv franchise is expanding its tactical simulation offerings with Muv-Luv: Tactics Kalidasa at Nightmare, a new strategy RPG announced for a 2027 launch on PC via Steam. The game, also referred to as Muv-Luv: Tactics - The Nightmare of Kalidasa, promises pure gameplay excellence with a self-contained narrative.
A trailer released today offers a glimpse into the game's mechanics, highlighting turn-based battles and the customization of Tactical Surface Fighters. The title was initially announced by aNCHOR Co., Ltd. in August 2024, and it builds upon the legacy of the long-running Muv-Luv series.
This new entry will focus on strategy gameplay, allowing players to engage in tactical combat. While aNCHOR has been active with other Muv-Luv releases, including standalone Switch versions of Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After episodes earlier this year, Tactics Kalidasa at Nightmare represents a significant new gameplay-focused project for the franchise.
