During the Muv-Luv Presents 2026 livestream held on October 22, 2026, developers announced that the visual novel duo Schwarzesmarken: Kōketsu no Monshō (Crest of Red Blood) and Schwarzesmarken: Junkyōsha-tachi (Martyrs) will launch on Steam. While specific release timing remains pending, the publisher confirmed that the ports will include language options for Japanese, English, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese. These titles are spin-offs of the Muv-Luv Alternative visual novel series, chronicling the 666th TSF Squadron's operations in 1983. The narrative serves as a prequel to the events depicted in Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse. The original PC software debuted in 2015 and 2016, followed by a 12-episode anime adaptation produced by Ixtl and LIDEN FILMS that aired during the winter 2016 season.
