Mangaka Mutsumi Aoki is set to begin a new series, Seinaru Hime no Kakushigoto (The Holy Princess' Secret Affair), in the upcoming October issue of Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine. The announcement appeared in the magazine's September issue, confirming an August 18 debut for the new title.
The narrative shifts away from Aoki’s previous work, focusing on a fantasy premise involving a princess who wields magic and a dedicated, serious knight. The two characters will navigate a journey centered on the path to sainthood.
Aoki is best known for their work on the Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Come franchise, specifically the spinoff manga Otonari no Yon-shimai ga Zettai ni Honobono suru Nichijō. That series, which followed the daily lives of the Shida sisters, concluded its run in November 2022, with its final collected volume released by Kadokawa in March 2023.
