The upcoming anime adaptation of Multi-Mind Mayhem: Isekai Tensei Soudouki has unveiled its first promotional video and key visual, confirming a January 2027 debut. The series, based on the light novels by Ryōsen Takami and Ririnra, follows the chaotic life of Bard Cornelius, a nobleman who possesses the combined consciousness of a miserly samurai, a modern-day otaku, and his own original soul.
Studio DEEN is spearheading the production, with Hiroaki Sakurai, known for his work on Di Gi Charat, taking the helm as director. The series composition is being handled by Keiichirō Ōchi, recognized for The Quintessential Quintuplets, while character designs are being adapted for animation by Zenjirō Ukulele, utilizing original concepts from Hajime Watanabe. The musical score is composed by Ryoshi Takagi.
The newly revealed cast features Yūsuke Kobayashi in the central role of Bard. He is joined by Takashi Matsuyama as Sanai Oka, Satoshi Inomata as Masaharu Oka, Yukari Anzai as Seillune, Ayasa Itō as Selina, and Sumire Morohoshi as Silke.
While the light novel series concluded its initial run with 14 volumes in 2019, the franchise has maintained a steady following through its long-running manga adaptation by Honoji. With One Peace Books managing the English print release, the project is well-positioned to introduce its unique blend of military strategy and otaku sensibilities to a broader audience when it arrives in early 2027.
