To mark a decade of supernatural chaos, the Mob Psycho 100 franchise has surprised fans with a brand new anime short. Unveiled during the "Mob Psycho 100 Anime 10th Anniversary Event: Reunion" in Saitama, the short sees the return of the fan-favorite cast, including Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama, Arataka Reigen, Dimple, and Tome Kurata, as they navigate their usual antics at the Spirits and Such Consultation Office.

The production of this anniversary project is a true homecoming, with Yuzuru Tachikawa returning to handle directing, writing, and storyboarding duties. He is joined by animation director Yoshimichi Kameda, who also provided a commemorative illustration for the occasion. According to staff reports, the short successfully reunited the core creative team responsible for the original series, ensuring the visual style remains faithful to the high-energy aesthetic fans have come to love.

Since its debut in 2016, the anime adaptation of ONE’s manga has remained a standout title, currently holding an impressive 8.4 rating on MyAnimeList. The franchise has seen significant growth over the years, spanning three successful seasons, the REIGEN: The Miraculous Unknown Psychic OVA, and a live-action series. The new short is currently available to stream online with English subtitles, offering a nostalgic look back at the characters that defined a generation of supernatural comedy.
