A new animated film, Misuke in Southern, has been revealed, serving as a prequel to the existing Misuke in The Land of Ice. Produced by Tezuka Productions, this standalone movie follows young Misuke as she embarks on an adventure to a southern country.
The story kicks off when Chi-cha and Ikeho enlist Misuke's aid for a divine quiz from the god Don-dan, a challenge they must overcome to save their mother. This journey through a cupboard is set before the events of Misuke in The Land of Ice, offering fans a glimpse into Misuke's earlier exploits and the world she inhabits.
