The second half of the second season of Mission: Yozakura Family is officially set to return to Japanese airwaves on October 11. A newly released promotional video confirms the return of the spy-action series, which will continue its broadcast across the MBS and TBS network blocks. The trailer also provides a first look at the upcoming season's musical lineup, featuring the opening track "Forever Song" by rock band Humbreaders and the ending theme "I'm still breathing" by the vocal group KID PHENOMENON.

Production remains centered at studio SILVER LINK, with Mirai Minato serving as chief director and overseeing series composition. Takahiro Nakatsugawa continues in the director's chair, leading a returning core staff that includes character designer Mizuki Takahashi and composer Kลji Fujimoto. The series follows the high-stakes life of Taiyou Asano, a student who finds himself thrust into the world of espionage after marrying into the powerful Yozakura family to protect his childhood friend, Mutsumi.

While the anime adaptation continues to roll out, the source material by Hitsuji Gondaira concluded its run in Weekly Shonen Jump earlier this year, with the 29th and final volume published in March 2025. International viewers can catch the series on Hulu, which has been the primary streaming home for the franchise's recent seasons. With the manga now complete, the anime has a clear path to adapt the remainder of the Yozakura family's journey.
