The latest promotional video for Mission: Yozakura Family has unveiled five new voice actors joining the cast for the second part of the series' second season. The update introduces Hōchū Ōtsuka as Alexandryu, Miku Itō as Shura, Yumiri Hanamori as Cyber Demon Lord Giga, Sumire Uesaka as Dr. Mozu, and Naomi Shindoh as Hulang. While the video also provided a first look at the character Kosmos Akizakura, the production team has yet to announce the voice actor for that role.
Returning to the screen on October 11, the series will continue its broadcast across MBS, TBS, and 26 affiliated channels. The upcoming episodes will feature new musical themes, with the rock band Humbreaders performing the opening track, "Forever Song," and the dance-vocal group KID PHENOMENON handling the ending theme, "I'm Still Breathing."
Production remains under the direction of Takahiro Nakatsugawa at SILVER LINK, with Mirai Minato serving as chief director. This second season follows the conclusion of the original manga, which wrapped up its serialization in January 2025 after a five-year run in Weekly Shonen Jump. With the source material now complete, the anime adaptation is moving through its final arcs as Taiyou Asano continues his high-stakes training to protect his wife, Mutsumi.
For viewers catching up, the series is available for streaming on Hulu in the United States. Given that the manga has reached its final volume, how do you think the anime will pace the remaining chapters in this second half?
