Aniplex of America has officially scheduled the release of Melty Blood: Twi-Lumina for April 22. The upcoming 2D fighting game will launch across a broad spectrum of hardware, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. A newly released trailer highlights the addition of White Len to the roster, featuring character designs by Takashi Takeuchi.
While the title retains Japanese-only voice acting, it significantly broadens its accessibility compared to its predecessor. Players will be able to navigate the game in eight languages, including English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. The project continues the long-standing partnership between Type-Moon and developer French Bread, utilizing the narrative framework established by the Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon- remake.
This release follows the 2021 launch of Melty Blood: Type Lumina, which introduced the current combat mechanics and world-building to a modern audience. With the Melty Blood: Type Lumina Piece in Paradise manga having wrapped up its serialization in late 2025, this new game serves as the latest expansion of the franchise's interactive presence. Given the roster's growth, it remains to be seen if further legacy characters will be unveiled before the spring launch.
