The romantic visual novel Meiji Tokyo Renka: Twilight Kiss is slated for an English release on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in 2026. The game will offer players the choice of English, Japanese, or Chinese subtitles, accompanied by Japanese voice acting.
Published by Dramatic Create, this title serves as a sequel to Meiji Tokyo Renka Full Moon, which itself saw a Western release on Switch and Steam in October 2024. The original Meiji Tokyo Renka: Twilight Kiss first launched in Japan in April 2015. The game features character designs by Karu and a scenario supervised by Yukiko Uozumi. The cast includes notable voice actors such as Daisuke Namikawa, KENN, Kōsuke Toriumi, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Jun Fukuyama, Shinnosuke Tachibana, and Toshiyuki Morikawa.
The Meiji Tokyo Renka franchise originated as a mobile game in 2011, later receiving ports and adaptations including a 2019 television anime streamed by Crunchyroll and Funimation. A previous anime film adaptation, Gekijōban Meiji Tokyo Renka: Yumihari no Serenade, premiered in 2015, followed by its sequel film in 2016.
