MediaOCD has significantly expanded its Discotek Deep Dives initiative with a fresh wave of pre-orders for July. The project, which launched earlier this year, serves as a dedicated storefront for Discotek Media’s extensive back catalog, specifically targeting releases that have become increasingly difficult for collectors to track down.
The latest update brings a diverse mix of classics and cult favorites to the shop. Highlights include the complete five-season run of the Symphogear franchise, multiple Lupin III entries—such as The Italian Adventure and the Lupin the IIIrd film trilogy—and the full Mazinger Z series. Fans of 2000s nostalgia will also find the English-dubbed versions of Monster Rancher and Ultimate Muscle available alongside the Japanese-subbed version of Sonic X.
Beyond high-profile action series, the drop includes unique titles like the Kiss×sis TV and OAD collections, Kekkaishi, Marmalade Boy, and Tona-Gura!. The update also features live-action adaptations, including Dororo and the Uzumaki film, as well as the Saint Seiya Classic Movie Collection and the Unico Double Feature.
MediaOCD remains committed to its goal of cycling through the Discotek library, with plans to add 20 to 30 titles to the platform each month. This initiative provides a vital avenue for physical media enthusiasts to acquire out-of-print discs that might otherwise be lost to the secondary market.
