Imagineer has confirmed that Medabots S, the mobile title originally released in Japan as Medarot S: Unlimited Nova, is expanding to international markets. The company opened pre-registrations for the international version today, with the App Store currently listing a release date of January 21, 2027.
This move follows the company's recent international release of Medabots Survivors earlier this year. While the franchise has maintained a presence on consoles through titles like the Medarot Classics Plus collection for Nintendo Switch, this launch brings the mobile-specific entry to players outside of Japan for the first time.
The series has a long history in international media, dating back to the 1999 Bee Train anime adaptation and its subsequent North American broadcast on Fox Kids in 2001. With the international launch approaching, it remains to be seen how the title's mechanics will be localized for the broader market compared to its 2020 Japanese counterpart.
