Mebius Dust, an original television anime from Dōga Kōbō, has released its first main promotional video, offering a deeper look at its cast, staff, and confirming a July 9 premiere date. The trailer also previews the ending theme song "Dilemma" by Ai Tomioka, alongside the previously announced opening theme "Mebius" by Leo Ieiri.

The newly revealed cast includes Taito Ban as Shōsei, Aoi Ichikawa as Kai, Sōhei Horikane as Haruto, Satsumi Matsuda as Kurusu, Shiori Mikami as Spica, and Maki Kawase as Dr. Yuda. The production also expanded its staff with Hatsume Kojima handling character design and chief animation direction, and DÉ DÉ MOUSE composing the music.

The anime is based on Hajime Shinagawa's story, which won the grand prize in the 'Kids/Game' category of the Project Anima competition in 2019. The series follows high school students Araki (voiced by Yuto Takenaka), Stella (Nene Hieda), and Olga (Haruka Satō) as they navigate their everyday lives, with Tarou Iwasaki directing and Yoriko Tomita on series scripts.

Mebius Dust is the third anime to emerge from the Project Anima contest. The competition, hosted by DeNA, Sotsu Co., Ltd., Nippon Cultural Broadcasting, and MBS, sought story submissions through various platforms. Previous Project Anima adaptations include Sakugan and The Story of the Girl Who Couldn't Become a Wizard.
