Marvelous has officially announced Story of Seasons: Your Wonderful Life, a new entry in the long-running farming simulation franchise designed specifically for virtual reality. Developed in collaboration with Grounding, the title is slated for a spring 2027 release on Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3s, and Meta VR Glasses.
The game aims to bring the series' signature cozy aesthetic into a mixed-reality space, allowing players to interact with their farm directly. According to the announcement, the gameplay loop focuses on tactile tasks like watering crops and tending to livestock without the need for a traditional controller. New minigames specifically tailored for VR, such as milking cows and shearing sheep, have also been confirmed to utilize the platform's motion-tracking capabilities.
This announcement follows the 2023 remake of the classic 2003 title Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, which brought the original GameCube experience to modern consoles and PC. The franchise has seen consistent activity recently, including the 2025 remake of Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar. With this move into the VR space, Marvelous continues to experiment with the series' format as it expands beyond traditional console and PC gaming.
