Sony Interactive Entertainment has unveiled a new trailer for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, the upcoming 4v4 tag-team fighter developed by Arc System Works and Marvel Games. The trailer prominently features the "Fighting Avengers" team, comprising Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, and Black Panther, and also reveals Wakanda as a playable stage.
The game is set to launch on August 6 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, with Japan receiving it on August 7. Voice cast members announced include Brian Bloom and Yūichi Nakamura as Captain America, Josh Keaton and Yoshihisa Kawahara as Iron Man, Fred Tatasciore and Atsushi Miyauchi as Hulk, and Erica Luttrell and Mitsuho Kambe as Black Panther.
Beyond the core Fighting Avengers, the trailer also offers glimpses of other launch characters such as Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man, Peni Parker, Star-Lord, Storm, Wolverine, Magik, Danger, Doctor Doom, and Ghost Rider. The game will include a single-player "Episode Mode" presented in a motion comic format, with story contributions from a writer from the original Marvel Comics.
The Ultimate Edition of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls will bundle pre-order bonuses, five character costumes, animated chromatic colors for all 20 launch characters, and the "Year One Pass," which adds four additional characters and one stage post-launch. Source: Anime News Network
