Anime studio MAPPA has unveiled a new music video to commemorate its 15th anniversary. The video, set to the PEOPLE 1 song "Seikatsu" ("My Life"), visually interprets the song's themes of human connection, shared experiences, and the choices that shape individual lives.

Beyond depicting relatable human narratives, the anniversary piece integrates elements intrinsic to the animation creation process. Viewers can spot key animation drawings and storyboards, offering a glimpse into the artistry and craft involved in bringing the visuals to life. The project celebrates both the emotional resonance of human relationships and the dedication of animators.

The production credits list Akiko Kudou for direction, storyboarding, and character design, with Manabu Ohtsuka handling planning. Yasugi Narumi served as the animator, and Manabu Akita provided key art. This collaboration follows previous work between MAPPA and PEOPLE 1, including the ending theme for Chainsaw Man and a music video for the song "Like the Flatwoods Monster."

Alongside the video release, MAPPA announced the "MAPPA EXPO 15th Anniversary" exhibition. Scheduled to run from September 16 to December 7 at the Yurakucho Museum in Tokyo, the event will feature art from prominent titles such as Chainsaw Man โ€“ The Movie: Reze Arc, Attack on Titan The Final Season, and Jujutsu Kaisen.
