Production company Shochiku has officially announced a television anime adaptation of the sci-fi romance manga Yumene Connect, authored by Kou Sawada. The announcement includes the reveal of the primary voice cast, production staff, and initial promotional materials, including a teaser visual and video.
The series stars Yuusuke Kobayashi as the protagonist Yuuhi Takamiya and Yuu Sasahara as the alien character Nano. The production team is led by director Souta Yokote, with Gigaemon Ichikawa overseeing series composition and scripts. Character designs are provided by Yoshihiro Watanabe, while Hayato Matsumura is composing the music, with production handled by Lantis. Studio Massket is the primary animation studio for the project.
Kou Sawada launched the manga in Weekly Shounen Magazine in September 2024. The story follows Yuuhi Takamiya, a high school student whose isolated life is upended by the arrival of Nano, an alien from Planet Pokotsun who brings a variety of strange items to Earth.
