Square Enix has brought the manga adaptation of The Viscount’s Porky Portrait: I Married the Knight My Sister Rejected to its international digital storefront, Manga UP! Global. The series, which began its serialization on the Gangan Online platform in August 2023, serves as a visual retelling of the light novel series originally penned by Mogura Manami.
The story centers on Mimosa, a reclusive noblewoman from the Norton family who has long lived in the shadow of her outgoing older sister. The plot kicks into gear when Mimosa is forced into a marriage engagement previously rejected by her sibling, leading her to believe she is destined to wed a man of unfavorable appearance. However, the narrative shifts into a gentle romance as she discovers her new husband is a kind-hearted knight, defying her initial expectations.
This adaptation features art by Akina and composition by Yū Andō, with the first compiled volume arriving in print last year. The source material, which originated on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2021, concluded its run in May 2023 after three published volumes featuring illustrations by Kazuno Yuikawa.
