Readers can now access Soon, You'll Paint Your Heart Out (Yagate Efude o Utsuroshi Kimi wa) in English via the MANGA Plus platform. The service launched the series this Wednesday, providing immediate access to the first five chapters of the story.
Created by Neguse Okita, the manga follows Airi Aikawa, a struggling professional artist who invites her former art student and childhood friend, Hinoki, to move in together after hearing about Hinoki’s financial hardships. While the premise centers on their shared creative ambitions, the narrative is driven by a hidden secret Airi has kept from those closest to her.
Okita originally debuted the series in the pages of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine on December 4. The publisher released the first collected volume in April and is set to follow up with the second compiled volume this Friday.
