Shueisha has brought Sango Honda's latest work, Finding the Invisible Star (Nanatōsei o Mitsukete), to its international platform. The series debuted on the MANGA Plus service on August 6, aligning with its Japanese serialization launch on Shonen Jump+.
The story is set in 2001 and centers on Naka, a factory worker whose weekly highlight is a ballroom dance class. His life takes a turn when he encounters a woman named Asaka, an office worker who sparks an unexpected connection. The narrative focuses on the growing bond between the two as Naka finds himself increasingly captivated by her.
Sango Honda is a familiar name to readers of the Shonen Jump+ platform. The author has previously penned several one-shots, including looking for, Pierce, and Poolside Memories—the latter of which was also released in English via MANGA Plus. Honda's work received significant industry recognition in 2022 when their title Kinyōbi yori no Shisha (Messenger from Friday) secured the Shonen Jump+ Manga Award for that summer.
