The supernatural action-comedy Odoru Sennen Kazoku (Millennium Family) is set to make the leap to television. Production company Kuma confirmed the adaptation on Monday, offering a first look at the series through a teaser visual and an announcement promo.
At the helm of the production is director and series composition writer Masato Jinbo, known for his work on The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2. Animation duties are being handled by studio PartsCraft, with character designs and chief animation direction provided by Hiroshi Yoneda. Rikuya Yasuda, recognized for his role in Mayonaka Heart Tune, has been tapped to voice the lead character, Theo.
Author Akira Kazugai launched the source material in Young King OURs in March 2021, focusing on seven immortal siblings who struggle to maintain their freedom while being hunted by criminal syndicates and military organizations. The series has gained enough traction to span nine volumes as of July 2025. International readers can currently access the manga digitally via the emaqi app, which holds the English license for the title.
