Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. has added a new voice to its second season roster. Yusuke Shirai has been cast as Shō Manao, a man described as gentle yet shrouded in mystery, lacking any known history or past. This addition follows a significant production shake-up for the workplace-themed magical girl series.

The second season, which premiered on NTV on July 4, sees a transition in leadership at J.C.STAFF. Riki Fukushima has taken over as director, with Michiko Yokote joining to oversee scripts. While character designer Masahiro Fujii and composer Makoto Miyazaki return to maintain the show's aesthetic and sound, the production team has been bolstered by several new department heads, including sound director Yoshikazu Iwanami and art director Shun Yoshii.

Beyond the casting news, the show’s musical identity has been refreshed. The opening theme, "Latte Magic," is performed by the collaborative duo of syudou and Yūsei Yagi, while VTuber Marine Houshou provides the ending theme, "BooooM!!!" This season continues the story of Kana Sakuragi, a corporate-minded magical girl navigating the realities of her profession, following the conclusion of the original manga series by Sekka Iwata and Yū Aoki in 2025.

Fans of the franchise will note that the series continues to lean into its unique "adult cast" and "workplace" themes, which distinguished the first season from traditional magical girl tropes. With the manga complete as of its 18th volume, this second season serves as the definitive continuation of the source material.
