The television anime adaptation of Magical Explorer has added Ai Kakuma to its cast as Ludie, the main heroine who appears on the game packaging for the in-universe game "Magicalâ Explorer." A new teaser visual showcasing the character was also unveiled.
Ludie, also known as Rudy in the anime's website, joins previously announced star Nobunaga Shimazaki, who is voicing KĆsuke Takioto. The series is slated for a Fall 2026 premiere.
WHITE FOX is handling the animation, with Kazuki Ohashi directing. Satoko Sekine is on series composition, Ryosuke Kimiya is designing the characters, and Kenichiro Suehiro is composing the music.
Yen Press publishes the light novel series, describing the story as follows: "Living in the world of Magicalâ Explorer, the legendary erotic game, sounds like a dream. Problem is, I reincarnated not as the lady-killer protagonist with his overpowered cheat skills, but as his unlucky comic-relief best friend!"
