Macross Delta, the 26-episode entry in the long-running franchise, is now streaming on Hulu with both English dub and subtitle options. The series, animated by Studio Satelight, follows a new generation of pilots battling a mysterious galactic ailment known as the Var Syndrome, all while a popular idol group provides the soundtrack to their battles.
Set eight years after Macross Frontier, Delta introduces the Walküre idol unit and the Delta Squadron, whose missions intertwine with the idol group's performances. This installment continues the franchise's signature blend of real robot combat, space opera drama, and J-pop, a formula that has defined Macross since its inception.
