TMS Entertainment's latest Lupin III special, Elusiveness of the Fog, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video with both English dub and subtitle options. The standalone story kicks off with Lupin and his crew diving for treasure, only for their pursuit to be interrupted by mysterious disappearances and the sudden appearance of Mamo Kyosuke, a time traveler seeking revenge.
Mamo forcibly sends Lupin, Jigen, Goemon, and even Inspector Zenigata 500 years into the past. There, they become entangled in a conflict between two factions vying for control of a legendary shrine tied to time itself. The special blends the franchise's signature blend of heist action, humor, and an evolving mystery with a high-concept time travel plot.
As a single-episode special, Elusiveness of the Fog offers a contained adventure within the long-running Lupin III universe. TMS Entertainment, the studio behind many of the franchise's recent entries, delivers the series' characteristic stylish animation and character dynamics.
