Spooky in Love, the recent live-action Korean series streaming on Netflix, is expanding its reach with an official webtoon adaptation. The digital comic began serialization on Naver Webtoon on July 17 and is currently updated on a weekly basis.

Following its domestic launch, the webtoon is slated for a broader international rollout across seven countries starting in mid-August. This adaptation mirrors the narrative of the Netflix series, which is itself inspired by the 2011 film Spellbound. The story centers on the unlikely partnership between Yeo-ri Chun, an heiress with the ability to perceive spirits, and Kang-wook Ma, a prosecutor whose bravado masks a paralyzing fear of the supernatural.

The live-action production, led by Eun-bin Park and Se-jong Yang, has already made a splash on the platform. During its debut week of July 13-19, the show secured the number eight spot on the Netflix Tudum non-English television charts, recording 1.7 million views. The series remains available for streaming on Netflix for those looking to compare the original drama with its new webtoon counterpart.
