The live-action film adaptation of Yuuto Suzuki's Sakamoto Days manga has released a new character promotional video. The footage offers a glimpse into the film's action, specifically previewing the fight choreography performed by lead actor Ren Meguro, who portrays the titular former assassin Tarō Sakamoto. The video also features the movie's theme song, "BANG!!," performed by the popular group Snow Man.

Directed and scripted by Yūichi Fukuda, known for his work on live-action adaptations like Gintama, the film boasts Keiya Tabuchi as its action director. The cast includes Fumiya Takahashi as Shin Asakura, Aya Ueto as Tarō's wife Aoi, and Miyu Yoshimoto as their daughter Hana. The ensemble also features Mayū Yokota, Junki Tozuka, Akihisa Shiono, Keisuke Watanabe, Takumi Kitamura, Yūsei Yagi, and Meru Nukumi in various roles, including members of the assassin organization Order.

The story centers on Tarō Sakamoto, once a legendary hitman who retired after falling in love, only to find his peaceful life disrupted by his past. Now running a neighborhood store and living a domestic life, he must protect his family.

The Sakamoto Days film is set to premiere in Japan on April 29. It will also be screened in the panoramic ScreenX format in select theaters across the country.
