Netflix has debuted the first two minutes of its live-action adaptation of S and X: Confession of Therapist (S to X ~Therapist Shimotori Ichito no Kokuhaku). The footage offers a glimpse into the clinical world of Ichito Shimotori, a sex therapist tasked with navigating the complex personal struggles of his patients—ranging from intimacy issues and trauma to the complications of affairs—while grappling with his own internal conflicts.

Kento Nakajima, known for his roles in the live-action Nisekoi and Silver Spoon, takes on the lead role of Shimotori. He is joined by an expansive ensemble cast featuring Yūko Araki, Ryōta Miura, Sawako Fujima, Aoi Nakamura, Rinka Kumada, Sayaka Yamaguchi, Yūsuke Santamaria, and Shirō Sano.

The series is directed by Shōgo Kusano, who also contributes to the screenplay alongside Tomoko Yoshida, Ruriko Matsushima, and Takumi Haba. Yoshida serves as the primary script supervisor for the production.

Based on the manga by Kisei Tada, which ran in Evening magazine from 2021 to 2022, the series explores the delicate nature of modern relationships through a professional lens. The full series is available to stream worldwide on Netflix starting today.
