The Remarried Empress will make its live-action debut on November 4, with Disney+ and Hulu streaming the first four episodes simultaneously. The 10-episode series will then shift to a bi-weekly Wednesday release schedule, wrapping up its run on November 25.

A newly released teaser trailer offers a first look at the central conflict between Empress Navier and Emperor Sovieshu. The footage highlights the fallout after the Emperor decides to replace his wife with his mistress, Rashta, forcing Navier to seek a new path as an Empress in a different land. The cast includes Min-A Shin as Navier, Ji-Hoon Ju as Sovieshu, Se Young Lee as Rashta, and Jong Suk Lee as Heinrey.

Directed by Suwon Cho with scripts by Geena Yeoh and Choong-Yeol Hyun, the production adapts the source material that concluded its seven-year run this past January. The webtoon remains a massive success, accumulating over 2.9 billion global views and spawning translations in 10 languages.

While the original webtoon is available in English via the WEBTOON platform and in print through Ize Press, this adaptation expands the narrative's reach. The webtoon is also slated to return this fall for a series of side stories.
