The One Piece live-action series is rounding out its ensemble for the upcoming third season, titled The Battle of Alabasta. During the One Piece Day '26 livestream event, production officially confirmed four new actors joining the cast to bring the iconic desert kingdom to life.

Emilio Sakraya will take on the role of the rebel leader Koza, with Omid Abtahi stepping in as his father, Toto. The royal guard will also be represented, featuring Nabeel Khan as the falcon-zoan user Chaka and Jamie Ward as the guardian Pell. These additions join a growing list of confirmed talent for the new season, which already includes Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace and Cole Escola as Bon Clay.

Production for this arc follows the successful debut of the second season, Into the Grand Line, which hit Netflix in March 2026. With Ian Stokes and Joe Tracz serving as co-showrunners, the production is currently moving full steam ahead toward a 2027 release window.

This casting news signals a pivot toward the heavy emotional beats of the Alabasta saga, a fan-favorite arc that serves as a major milestone in Eiichiro Oda’s original manga. As the series continues to evolve under the guidance of Tomorrow Studios, the inclusion of these specific characters suggests the show is staying true to the political and personal stakes that define this portion of the Straw Hat crew's journey.
