The upcoming live-action film adaptation of Mika Yamamori's In the Clear Moonlit Dusk manga has unveiled more of its cast through a newly released trailer. The footage introduces Rintarō Mizusawa as Takuto Ohji, Yuna Hoshino as Nobara Tone, Sayu Suzukawa as Kotobuki Hibiya, Takato Ōkura as Sentarō Akane, and Tatsumi Asa as Shun Kuwabatake.

These additions join previously announced stars Shunsuke Michieda, known for his roles in the live-action My Love Mix-Up! and The Kindaichi Case Files series, as Kohaku Ichimura, and Seira Anzai, who appeared in the live-action Insomniacs After School film, as Yoi Takiguchi. The film is set to open in Japanese theaters on October 23.

Directed by Kentarō Takemura with a script by Yuichi Tokunaga, the movie is produced by TBS TV and distributed by TOHO. The manga, which follows Yoi Takiguchi, a girl nicknamed "Prince" for her boyish charm, and her interactions with the equally princely Kohaku Ichimura, was serialized in Dessert magazine starting in 2020. Its 10th volume was published in January. The manga also ranked high on Kono Manga ga Sugoi!'s list for female readers in 2023. The manga's 12-episode anime adaptation, animated by Atelier Peuplier and East Fish Studio, aired in Winter 2026 and was streamed by Crunchyroll.
