The official website for the live-action adaptation of Ryō Nakama's High School Family: Kokosei Kazoku manga has released a new promotional clip. The footage highlights a scene from the film where the Ietani family performs an original song titled "Kizuna" during their school's cultural festival. Directed by Tôichirô Rutô, the film features a screenplay written by Makoto Ueda. The production stars Shingo Katori as the father, Ichiro; Riisa Naka as the mother, Shizuka; Jun Saitō as the eldest son, Kōtarō; and Yuno Nagao as the younger sister, Haruka. The film is now set to premiere in Japan on January 8, 2027, following a delay from its previously announced fall 2026 release window. The original manga, which concluded in 2023, is available digitally in English through Viz Media and MANGA Plus.
