The upcoming live-action adaptation of the hit soccer manga Blue Lock has unveiled a fresh look at its intense opening sequences. A newly released trailer focuses on the series' iconic entrance exam, providing a glimpse into the high-pressure environment that defines the franchise. The footage is underscored by the insert song "twilight," performed by Fukase, setting a moody tone for the life-changing competition.
Directed by Yūsuke Taki with a script by Tetsuo Kamata, the film is backed by production house CREDEUS, which recently gained industry attention for their work on the live-action Golden Kamuy. The project features an expansive cast, led by Fumiya Takahashi as protagonist Yoichi Isagi and Masataka Kubota as the eccentric mastermind Jinpachi Ego. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on August 7.
