The upcoming second cour of the Liar Game anime has unveiled its first trailer and key visual, signaling its July premiere. The trailer showcases new footage and introduces the additional cast members participating in the high-stakes psychological games.
New music artists have also been announced for the latter half of the series. Kroi will perform the second opening theme song, titled "All in," while muque is set to deliver the second ending theme, "Still Not Enough." The anime, which kicked off its broadcast in April and is slated for a continuous six-month run, is being animated by Madhouse under the chief direction of Yūzō Satō.
Several new voice actors are joining the cast to portray participants in the dangerous games. Natsuki Hanae will voice Norihiko Yokoya, accompanied by Junya Hirano as Kota Akagi, Tomohiro Yamaguchi as Kenji Ikezoe, Kengo Tsujii as Yusuke Shibayama, Reigo Yamaguchi as Kakeru Tajima, Tatsumaru Tachibana as Akira Tsumura, Seiyū Fujiwara as Hiroshi Hasegawa, Kikunosuke Toya as Makoto Murata, and Shinya Takahashi as Tatsuji Wada.
Liar Game is based on Shinobu Kaitani's manga, which concluded its original run in 2015. The series follows Nao Kanzaki, an honest college student drawn into a deadly game of deception, who teams up with the brilliant ex-con artist Shinichi Akiyama to survive.
