The long-awaited return of Let's Play is finally on the calendar, with Rocketship Entertainment confirming a July 22 launch date for the webcomic's fourth season on Tapas. Readers can get a head start on the new material, as a pre-launch episode has already been uploaded to the platform.
The comeback will be a focal point at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Creator Leeanne M. Krecic, known by her pen name Mongie, is scheduled to attend the convention, where the publisher will distribute signed prints featuring the new season's cover art. Attendees will also have access to the first five print volumes, including special gamer variant editions and exclusive merchandise.
This return follows a significant transition for the series. After running on WEBTOON from 2016 to 2022 and securing an Eisner Award nomination, Mongie moved the property to Rocketship Entertainment citing concerns over platform marketing and compensation. The series, which balances themes of social anxiety and game development, recently saw its profile expanded through an OLM-produced anime adaptation that aired on Fuji TV's +Ultra block and streamed on Crunchyroll.
