Lego has unveiled its latest addition to the Icons collection, a detailed set capturing the legendary Shenron from the Dragon Ball franchise. The build features the wish-granting dragon alongside the seven Dragon Balls and a miniature figure of Kid Goku riding his signature Kintoun cloud. Designed for display, the set allows builders to reposition Goku to recreate various scenes from the series.

The set consists of 1,764 pieces and carries a retail price of $179.99. While the general release is scheduled for November 4, those enrolled in the Lego Insider program can secure the set during an early access window beginning November 1.

This release continues Lego's recent expansion into anime and manga-inspired properties, following previous collaborations involving One Piece and other pop-culture staples. The timing of the set coincides with a busy period for the franchise, as the upcoming television anime Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is set to premiere on Fuji TV on October 11.

Why it matters: As Lego continues to diversify its portfolio with high-profile anime licenses, this set brings the Dragon Ball brand into the premium display-model market. It remains to be seen if this release signals a broader, long-term partnership between the toy manufacturer and Toei Animation.
