Comedians Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers delivered a surprise performance of the beloved American Pokémon theme song, "Gotta Catch 'em All," during their annual Las Culturistas Awards show. The parody awards ceremony aired on the Bravo television network on June 17.
During the broadcast, Yang and Rogers took the stage to perform the iconic anthem, accompanied by backup dancers dressed as various Pokémon trainers and a Pikachu mascot. The Las Culturistas podcast, hosted by Yang and Rogers, originally launched in March 2016 and is produced by iHeartRadio and Will Ferrell's Big Money Players podcast network.
The duo hosted their first Las Culturistas Awards in June 2022, with subsequent ceremonies in 2025 and 2026 airing on Bravo. The original Pokémon anime series premiered in Japan in April 1997, with its North American debut following in September 1998.
