The upcoming anime adaptation of Kyouran Reijou Nia Liston has confirmed a substantial broadcast commitment, with the series set to run for two consecutive cours. The announcement arrived alongside a second promotional video, which offers a first listen to the opening theme song, 'Respawn!!,' performed by VTuber Watame Tsunomaki.
Production is being led by director Motoki Nakanishi at Konami animation, with series composition handled by Gigaemon Ichikawa. The newly revealed cast members joining the project include Junichi Suwabe as Hyurence Altoire, Maaya Uchida as Sharro White, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Asuma, and Kouichi Sakaguchi as Bendelio. Fans in Japan can get an early look at the production during an advance screening of the first three episodes on September 22 at the esports TOKYO BAY studio.
The series, based on the light novel by Umikaze Minamino, follows a well-established path from web novel to print and manga adaptation. While the anime is slated for an October 6 premiere on Tokyo MX, BS Nippon TV, and MBS, the international audience has already had access to the source material through J-Novel Clubβs digital releases and Square Enixβs simulpub of the manga adaptation.
Why it matters: The decision to commit to two consecutive cours suggests a significant investment in the series' narrative scope, though it remains to be seen how the production will pace the adaptation of the 11-volume light novel series.
