Krispy Kreme is marking the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise with a new, limited-edition pastry collection. The launch brings iconic pocket monsters to the menu, featuring flavor profiles tailored to each character: lemon for Pikachu, strawberry for Jigglypuff, caramel with chocolate filling for Charmander, vanilla for Bulbasaur, and cotton candy for Squirtle. A Poké Ball-themed doughnut, finished with vanilla and chocolate icing, rounds out the specialty lineup.
Beyond the doughnuts, the chain is introducing "Original Glazed Gold Dots" served in themed cups decorated with the same roster of Pokémon. This promotional run is currently underway at participating Krispy Kreme locations throughout the United States and Canada.
Fans looking to grab these items should act quickly, as the collection is scheduled to rotate out of stores on September 13. The collaboration serves as one of many high-profile activations occurring throughout 2026 to commemorate the milestone anniversary of the Nintendo and Game Freak property.
