Koma-Dori Mofmof Parade, the stop-motion project expanding on the IDOLiSH7 universe’s "Mofmof" mini-characters, has locked in a January 2027 television debut. Bandai Namco Filmworks announced that the series will air across TV Tokyo and its five affiliated channels, bringing the fluffy, space-faring creatures to the small screen.
The production is being helmed by director Takuma Aomatsu, known for his work on Puppet Sunsun, with animation duties handled by the specialized stop-motion house, dwarf studios. The sound direction is led by franchise veteran Takatoshi Hamano, who previously worked on the IDOLiSH7 series and the LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD concert film, while Yayoi Sekimukai is set to compose the score.
The project features a massive ensemble cast, with 16 voice actors from the core IDOLiSH7 franchise lending their voices to the Mofmof characters. The lineup includes Kenshō Ono as Mofriku, Toshiki Masuda as Mofio, Yusuke Shirai as Mofyama, and Tsubasa Yonaga as Mofmitsu, among many others, ensuring a familiar experience for long-time fans of the multimedia franchise.
This stop-motion series follows the ongoing success of the IDOLiSH7 franchise, which has maintained a strong presence through its multi-season anime run, spin-off shorts, and the 2023 theatrical concert film. The Mofmof characters—curious, fluffy beings from a mysterious planet—were introduced earlier this year, marking a whimsical departure for the franchise as it explores new visual formats.
