Kogattuo and Ichika Kino have launched their new manga, World Wide Web MIKO! (Sekai wo Tsunagi Tsukusu Internet Miko), on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ platform. The series is also being published in English through MANGA Plus as chapters release in Japan.
The story is set in 1890 during the Meiji era and centers on Kanako, a young girl fascinated by the "Worldwide MIKO SpiriNet," a version of the internet controlled by chosen miko. Her interests extend beyond browsing message boards to a particular fascination with male imagery.
Ichika Kino is known for their previous work, Ossan Idol!, which ran on Shufu to Seikatsu Sha's Comic PASH! website from July 2018 to August 2022. Tokyopop published that series in English.
