Koei Tecmo has confirmed that Attack on Titan 3 will arrive on December 10, bringing the definitive action-game conclusion to the titan-slaying franchise. The release will span multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A newly released trailer showcases a blend of narrative beats and high-octane gameplay, highlighting the game's ambition to adapt the entire anime storyline from its early days to the final confrontation.
Players looking for a premium experience can opt for the Digital Deluxe Edition, which bundles a digital artbook, three exclusive costumes, seven creator parts, and various in-game items. Physical collectors will also have the option to pick up a specialized SteelBook featuring ICONART. Notably, the game will launch with extensive language support, including Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and multiple versions of Chinese and Korean.
Developed by Omega Force, the title promises to let players face the Nine Titans for the first time while expanding on existing lore through new story content. In a nod to the source material's animation legacy, studio MAPPA is slated to produce the game's opening sequence, which will be integrated into the experience through a post-launch update. This installment follows the 2018 release of Attack on Titan 2 and its subsequent Final Battle expansion, which previously capped off the franchise's interactive history at the third season.
